The Engine stalled!

The Site has been a bit quiet of late, unfortunately work commitments and ill health have left me unable to blog.Should just about be all sorted now and I am all ready to give Dodo a push and get him moving again!

As well as picking up the blog and filling in all the gaps from the missing weeks (not even the Calender Mice could eat that much!) I have quite a full To Do(Do) list;

-Sort out the next agent to slide Dodo too

-Complete illustrations of the main characters (Ogd, Dead Vole and Didi)

-Continue to work on sequel

-Continue on outline for prequel which might be in graphic novel form

-Start work on Dodoengine website. I have already purchased the Dodoengine.co.uk domain name, just got to do something with it!

-Dodo and Facebook = as well as the little fan group I have done a trial of a Dodo game using one of the FB applications.Need to revise and expand options which will allow users to send each other Dodo related pictures, from the characters, icons and eventually other stuff like fluff or Dodo dirt etc

As ever there is plenty to keep me occupied ,so better get too it!

Made a bit more progress with drawing the characters, Dodo is done and now features on the new ID cards I have made up for the Facebook group ( DORADS ) , the first 50 I am going to have made up an sent out, after that I will post up the template.So if you want one go and join!

Flappy is next, but is head is proving elusive, and I am dreading Dead Vole!

URG News!

Following on from the Facebook fan group i have set up some more groups on other social Networking sites, for those of you who are not on Facebook!Each of the sites has its own name (Just because!) but all are part of URG, the Unreal Readers Group which is the overgroup (yes i know i am just playing now, blame Hamlyn Bereaucracy!).This site will still be the main site but i will try and add material for each of the group pages as well.

Facebook group update.2

Most of the new images I make I will be adding to the Dodoengine Flikr account from now on, but I will continue to add some site specific ones to the Facebook group such as the new title (see below).

I also have an idea for membership cards as well, bit of fun with picture, membership no. date of birth (well, Dodo diary day!) and maybe favorite character, I will post up a sample as soon as I can!

Blog Update

Dodo and the small band of dedicated ‘writers’ who poke him until he gives us something to write each day (sometimes in a mime, sometimes in an elaborate dance/thrash in the dirt and sometimes just by being himself/stupid!) have been unavoidably distracted elsewhere by a wedding.

Abnormal service will be resumed tomorrow and all missing days inserted when you are not looking and nailed into place (kicking and screaming in some cases!) by way of a small distraction until then i have added a Dodo gallery to the blogs sidebar.This links to various images etc and give you something to look at if you do not have a Facebook account (plans are also being badly scrawled in crayon for a MySpace page as well..coming soon!) ,

Uploaded some more images onto the Facebook group site, icon/stamps for each of the main characters and another wallpaper

Dodo is somewhere else!

There is now another damp patch of the web that has been touched by Dodo.

I have just finished a Facebook group for Dodo, this will give another route in to the Dodo’s little world and also a forum for anyone, anyone at all…..

On a more realistic note it does give me somewhere to upload any Dodo inspired artwork, I might even try and get some sketches of the characters, but feel free to join and add your own!
