August 1st

Exposed Bottom Day.

August finally turns up and feels a bit exposed as June and July seem to have had a big holiday and left the place a bit of a mess, and a weird smell coming from somewhere…though it’s probably Dodo!

Determined to put on a better show, August has told its day to turn up on time on pain of a chinese burn! While days not working will be sent out to find June and July!

Oblivious to all of this, the Calender Mice just tunneled round the gap and left a small pile of poo just before August.

Oblivious to almost everything he couldn’t eat. Dodo hadĀ  quite a nice day and even had time to stop and have a chat with a woodlouse (mainly on why his passport said ‘Gramisow!’) before using him as a crunchy dip with some stick insects (they had forgotten their passports!)

New Tramp Hole Day

Still Under Dead Tramp Dodo decided to have a little nose around….

…the rest of the day was ruined by Parchment Turtles who failed utterly to catch a calender mice after failing to take into account their inability to ‘Jump out’ at anything! They also misjudged the angle of the page and slid down the page, scattering and smudging words everywhere before one of them tore a whole and fell through, the other one managing to catch hold of a sharp comment and pull hiimself back from the edge.

Bum Shuffle Day

When know one is looking Dodo likes to do a little shuffle……

…thankfully the rest of the day was ruined by parchment Turtles who had tried to ambush a calender mouse but tripped up and slid down the page and through the spine into today.

The mouse got away unharmed apart from a tender feeling in his belly after laughing so much at the sight of two eager then terrified Turtles hurtling by.

One Turtle ( Linear B) was left making small circles as he was caught on a staple.

Open Day

Today is hiding and has refused to come out, unless it is to be eaten by the Calender mice as a mercy killing. The day did leave a garbled note saying it had seen to much and just wanted to end it all, apparently Didi was thinking of moving house and decided to have a good throw out and clean and then have an open house day and invite everyone round to view, with the option of buying or renting. The details sent the day into shock.

When asked later about the day, Dodo said “Dodo!” and confirmed that Didi had been disappointed with the turnout and had no serious offers!

May 19th

May 19th

In an unexpected and random occurrence, today was totally normal and spectaculary uneventful.

Nothing happened of any interest and everyone involved was left feeling a bit disappointed and dazed.

Anything that happened today was actually made up to fill in the gap and make everyone feel a bit better in a series of individual and mass hallucinations.

Even the Calender gave the page a wide birth as it smelt odd, and not even in an interesting way!

Festering Day

Still Hiding, Dodo decides to show everyone his own hiding places and what he keeps in each of his holes….

…mercifully Calender Mice have eaten the rest of the page and used it to make up a mini roundabout to try and reduce mice getting confused when they were moving through today and trying to get to ‘about teatime’ next wednesday where a dinner party was being held by the notable mouse poet Byron Byroff. Byrons most recent work includes the much commented ‘Ode to a Bit of Time’

Ode to a Bit of Time

And so I wandered though this day, lost as a bookmark thown away.

Type font and Time upon my lips, whisps of minutes on my whisker tips.

Slipping through dates, scribbled notes our sweet cakes.

The mice of time, is life sure sublime.

April 29th

Today is unavailable for viewing due to blockade set up by Parchment Turtles, they read on the bookspine (its like a grape vine but without the fruit or singing!) that a family of Calender Mice were traveling through there and hoped to catch them. They had even tried to lay some banana peel on the bottom of the page to trip them up, unfortunately they couldn’t get hold of any so tried to use soome Aphid peel from yesterday.

The Plan will probably fail but we will leave then too it.Please try again tomorrow and mind the Aphid peel on the way out.

Don’t Stare Day

On this day tell unwanted friends the Truth.

Unfortunately the rest of the day was tunneled through by a small band of Calender mice who went by the name of the Pale Four, mainly because they could not count to seven and calling themselves the Pale Some was a bit silly. The tunnel was later widened right up to the middle of breakfast and just after you have had your warm malted drink by pursuing Parchment Turtles.

The Turtles were eventually thrown of the scent by their own smell (turtle wax and Gin!) and the tunnel taking a split into the dark bit of tomorrow morning and the other fork doubling back to catch the start of breakfast.

Dead Leg Day

Dodo once found a spare leg….

Unfortunately the rest of the day has been destroyed in a pitched battle between Calender Mice and parchment Turtles, I say pitched battle just to get your attention, actually two sleepy mice (Brindle Bluepipe and Posey Bigtoe. No relation) were taken by surprise by two parchment turtles (Gothic Turtle and Cursive Turtle) who had hidden behind the date and surprised them! Both Calender mice barely got away with a packed lunch and the Turtles were forced to settle for the rest of the day and a bit of tomorrow just before breakfast.

Loose Skin Day

Dodo and Flappy often have loose skin competitions, Flappy usually has the advantage, having so much spare skin under his armpits (wings, he calls, them much to the disgust of Ogd!) but Dodo usually ends up winning by the amount of stuff he keeps in his.Spare food left to mature under his chins, interesting fungus and rare spores in numerous pockets and slippets of skin and extra folds beneath his matted fur.White his bottom was even home to Dead Vole on several occasions, though Dead Vole doesn’t like to talk about it ( and would be grateful he was dead at the time if it wasn’t for the facrt he is still dead!)

Discussions about warmer skin bits and other hidden folds were luckily eatenĀ  by a desperate Calender Mouse, though he complained of a bad taste in his mouth which eventually drove him mad, eventually serving himself up to a parchment turtle as the only way out!
The turtle has also sought medical assistance and recently dined out on a Grays Anatomy which almost helped.
