Dodo Music.1.02

Another music post…

This week I have mostly been writing and singing along badly to Duran Duran, a perfect mix of enthusiasm and not knowing enough words all blended by the headphones so i think i sound just as good… everyone else leaves the room and the cat admits defeat!

I have been a fan of Duran Duran since always but really got into them with the Wedding Album.If you think they are still just a pretty boy band singing Wild boys (which is actually still loads of fun and a top video!)  this is the album to start you off and see something else!

Rock, electronic, pop with flamboyant gothic and dark brooding sounds with elements of psychadelic maddness. Le Bon himself described the group as “the band to dance to when the bomb drops”

My favourite albums are Wedding Album, Medazzaland, Astronaut and still looping their latest, Red Carpet Massacre!

March 31st

Wrong Twig Day

Dodo accidentally sat on a twig today, when he pulled it out it had two red lines on it. Flappy suggested he was pregnant and Dead Vole felt a bit deader inside at the very idea (The how, the when, the who, the why and the Oh, dear God no!).

Luckily for Dodo, and everyone else, it was just some intestine!

Today is dedicated to St Silvia the Hermitess, she is also the patron of offensive truth, rude comments said in support. and people with no friends.

March 30th

Bad Spasm Day

Dodo ocassionally treats himself to a bit of Drizzle willow root and craws of into a corner to have funny dreams  and twitch a lot.Dodo finds it all a bit weird and very funny, though it is eve funnier when he gives it to the others, Didi though she was a rat, Flappy actually took off and Ogd having flashbacks and moaning about overcrowding and some sailors column!

March 29th

Runny Bum Day

A nasty side affect of Bottom Harvest day, Dodo remembers not to walk backwards or stay anywhere to long for fear of sticky feet!

On this day the people of Hamlyn have their annual ‘Experimental Foods Festival’.It has yet to prove successful or healthy, but the fatalities are usually confined to the very young and old.Its survival is a testament to the lure of free stuff

March 28th

Bottom Planting Day

Take time to love yourself (though perhaps not in public!), if you don’t how do you expect anyone else too!

Dodo is busy today (see above) so Didi has offered to crawl in with a comment, she suggests redecorating..

Why not liven up up those dull static walls with some worms. A bit of tape to keep them on the wall and they will last for days and stay up longer than snails!

March 27th

Bottom Harvest Day

Dodo gets very excited on this day, months of careful tending finally come to fruition.

Ignorance can be bliss.Don’t ask and don’t kiss the rat, frogs are a bit of a lottery but you will always be disappointed/ill with a rat!

Today is dedicated to St Hobble the urgent, also patron of loss off self control and unwanted bodily fluids.

March 26th

Day After Cower

On this day Dodo tends to take it easy and recover from all the  previous days cowering, after all, being brave often requires little or no thought while cowering requires a lot. Worrying, hearing things, wild speculation, replaying events (real or imagined!) to name but a few!

Coincidentally, Ogd, Flappy, Didi and Dead Vole also take it easy after spending a busy night creeping around making creeping noises and acting like potatoes poised to rub!

Please note:Dead Vole took more of a supervisory role and did nothing and offered no useful help, being the supervisor and dead.

Dodo online!

Dodo now has his own direct line, he tried sending things via pigeon but Ogd disagreed and proposed somewhere else for the mail to go, not knowing much about anatomy much of the threat was lost on Dodo, suffice to say he declined. Instead all Dodo related stuff can now be whisked directly by the power of electronic termites on the backs of beetles using small satchels the internet and the nice people at Google.

Dodo is somewhere else!

There is now another damp patch of the web that has been touched by Dodo.

I have just finished a Facebook group for Dodo, this will give another route in to the Dodo’s little world and also a forum for anyone, anyone at all…..

On a more realistic note it does give me somewhere to upload any Dodo inspired artwork, I might even try and get some sketches of the characters, but feel free to join and add your own!
